Four-Wall Pavilion is composed by four identical walls and roofs, each of which points one direction, thus forms a windmill-shaped plan. We use transparent and translucent material – coated glass and polycarbonate hollow sheet – as the main materials of the surface. The overlap of these two materials create a special light environment, which contribute the spatial atmosphere of the Four-Wall Pavilion. The four individual walls enclose a court and create four open corners, from where people could enter the court. Following the demand of drainage, the four roofs intertwin with a subtle slope, and drainage components guide the water outside the building, across through the space between roofs.
